Mrs. B. admitted to Arden Place of Grapevine following an acute hospitalization for a right fibula fracture. A specific rehab program was designed for her to build strength, improve balance, and enhance her functional abilities so that she could achieve her goal of returning home.
Upon admission, Mrs. B. required moderate assistance for all functional tasks and ADLs and was unable to ambulate without maximum assistance. After just 3 short weeks of hard work in therapy, she was able to improve her abilities to an independent level!
Mrs. B. said, “My Rehab Team was great, they encouraged me to get up and make it happen every day. Thanks to them I am able to go home and get up and down my steps in my home.” Mrs. B. was most excited to spend time with her family and grandchildren after discharging home from rehab.
