Featured Resident: SUE G.
Sue was born in Cleveland, OH on May 19th, 1933, a city where she spent her childhood before moving away for college after graduating high school. She attended Miami University in Oxford, OH where she studied home economics. She met her husband Bruce while attending MU and they were married shortly after their graduation. Other than raising her children, Sue says she enjoyed when her family would host exchange students from around the world. Once graduated, Sue began her long career as a dietician, although when asked how long she remained a dietician she laughed and responded “so long, at this point I couldn’t tell you.” Her favorite part of her job was working with “a really nice group of people.” One of the reasons Sue was chosen as resident of the month by her peers and the staff here at Arden Place of Grapevine was because of her generous heart; she will sit and talk with other residents all day long as if she’s known them for decades, smiling and laughing with them, spreading joy to everyone around her.
Employee of the Month: Cami S.
This month, residents and staff at Arden Place of Grapevine have chosen our wonderful CNA, Cami, as our employee of the month! Cami has been a CNA for over twenty-seven years. She was born in Kentucky and has lived all around the world including London for a while. She loves to workout, especially running. She also loves to listen to music. She says the best part of being a CNA is getting to know the residents and learning all about their lives!
