Nothing is better than a great steak and a nice glass of whiskey, which is the life motto of one of our beloved residents, one we’re very happy to announce as our resident of the month! Harry B. was born March 27, 1942 in Palmer, Texas and has been at Arden Place of Grapevine since November of last year but it’s certainly felt like he’s always been a part of the family. He grew up in domino halls with his dad teaching him all that he knows and he uses that knowledge soundly when he plays against staff and fellow residents alike, very rarely has anyone been able to best him! Harry used to enjoy playing golf and tennis, as well as working at his job of about 50 years in land title insurance. He most misses spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandchildren, though he says “I enjoy being here, the staff is so nice to me and I enjoy spending time with my friends.” Harry was nominated for resident of the month by his peers because his heart seems big enough for all of us here, his friendliness and caring is never ending as he goes about his day. “I love helping people, The Good Lord made a wonderful thing when he made us. I love people in general.”
