Ms. Barbara S. came to Arden Place of Grapevine following multiple hospitalizations, including hip and back fractures, abdominal discomfort, and pleural effusions. Upon admission, Ms. Barbara required the use of continuous oxygen and needed maximum assistance with ADLs and mobility. The therapy team designed a specific rehab program to help her regain strength, improve balance, and return to her prior levels of functional independence. After 8 weeks with the rehab team, Ms. Barbara met all her long-term therapy goals and was able to discharge home to her Assisted Living Community at a supervisory level of mobility. She plans to continue her recovery with outpatient therapy services.
