Success Story: Mr. Keyvan H.

Mr. Keyvan H.came to Arden Place of Grapevine following a hospitalization for numerous complications relating to neutropenic fever, including acute respiratory distress and multiple organ system failure. During his time at the hospital, he required the need for ventilation and a tracheostomy. He also developed gangrene in all four of his extremities, leading to amputations on both his hands and his feet. Upon admission to Arden Place of Grapevine, Mr. H. required total assistance with ADLs and mobility. He worked on and off with the therapy and nursing teams throughout his time here in order to reach his ultimate goal – to live again on his own, independently. With the unwavering support from his family and the staff here, Mr. H. was not only able to obtain prosthetics, but also learned how to meet all functional needs before discharging home to his own apartment!
