Mrs. Anna W. came to Arden Place of Grapevine following a recent hospitalization due to a fall at home, resulting in a functional decline in mobility. While in the hospital, a CT scan showed a lack of blood supply to the brain, warranting therapeutic intervention. Upon admission, Mrs. W. required maximum assistance with ADLs and was unable to ambulate. The therapy team tailored a specific program to help her regain strength, improve balance, and regain her functional independence. In just four short weeks with the rehab team, Mrs. W. met all her long-term goals, increasing her functional status to a Modified Independent level and walking over 200 feet with her rollator!
